2009 WAME Member Meeting
The 4th WAME Member Meeting was held on Friday, September 11, 2009, in Vancouver, BC, Canada, in conjunction with the Sixth International Congress on Peer Review and Biomedical Publication ( http://www.jama-peer.org , September 10-12, 2009). The meeting included WAME business, a small journals research report, discussion of the WAME training program currently under development, and discussion of ethics cases led by the WAME Publication Ethics Committee. A summary and related initiatives will be posted on this Web site shortly.

The Mediterranean Editors and Translators meetings are aimed at author’s editors, copy editors, journal editors, translators, copywriters, proofreaders, teachers of English for specific purposes, project managers, writing instructors, oral communication coaches, web localizers, and any other language professionals working with English at the writing-editing-translation-publishing interface, particularly in the Mediterranean area.
