The World Association of Medical Editors (WAME) International Conference for Medical Journal Editors 2015 (WAME Conference 2015) will be held at Hotel Le Meridien, NewDelhi, India from October 1-4, 2015. This is the first-ever WAME conference and it aims atproviding an opportunity for editors, publishers, peer reviewers and other groups associated with medical publishing to meet and discuss issues related to this growing field.

The conference is being hosted by the Indian Association of Medical Journal Editors and The National Medical Journal of India, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi for WAME. It will consist of plenary lectures, symposia, workshops and research presentations. Besides the usual topics related to journal editing and publishing, we hope to discuss issues such as Predatory journals, manipulation of peer review, handling scientific misconduct, indexing, and global health. Your attendance will be an important contribution to the success of this conference and will help drive progress in the field of medical publishing.

The venue is in central Delhi, close to a Metro train station, and the bustling central Delhi markets of Connaught Place and Khan Market. It is surrounded by a number of cultural and historical landmarks of Delhi.

In addition to the main conference, there will be pre-conference workshops covering a range of editorial issues. These will be at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences.
